Shearwater Tours provides hour-long charter entertainment cruises on the South Saskatchewan river in downtown Saskatoon. The 35-passenger Saskatoon Princess and Meewasin Queen are 3-season tour boats with lounge-style seating, catered meals, heated cabins, washrooms, and bar service. The Queen features an attractive upper deck which affords a great vantage point from which to see the river.

The Saskatoon Public Library’s story began in 1913, with the library as a modest reading room located in the basement of the Independent Order of Oddfellows Hall at 416-21st Street East. Over the past 15 years, SPL has ranked as one of the top three large urban public library systems in Canada. Use of the public library in 2005 hit an all time high – over four million items circulated out of our branches.
